10 Things must to do in chennai

Chennai the Capital city of Tamilnadu, a southern state of india. It is a cosmopolitan city. The people are courteous and friendly. A little bit of English is enough to talk to anyone at anywhere. These are the things you which is peculiar in chennai. The best time to enjoy climate in chennai is during December - February

1. Drink a tea from Road side shop. It will cost you only Rs.8. But the taste will be hard to forget
2. Visit the Marina Beach - see the splendor of sand and enjoy seeing coming with family and friends. Visit during the morning hours to see hundreds of doves. Swimming is not allowed in chennai beaches
3. Go for the Light House at Marina - You are allowed to step through its heights and get a view of the grandeur of chennai
4. Visit T Nagar for purchase or just walk around the crowded street. Stores like Saravana Stores in T Nagar is famous for heavy discount good material, which you can hardly resist. There are road side shops where you can taste the small things like mangoes with salt, ground nuts, peanuts, slices of pineapple etc. at cost like 10 - 30 rupees
5. visit Theme park like VGP Universal kingdom, Queensland, Kishkhinta etc. - Theme parks which are enjoyable with your family.
6.There is a house near the shopping complex, Express avenue known as parrot house. Visit there around 5 pm to have a view of hundreds of wild green parrots which arrives there for food and water. The house is a private property and you can only view from the road.
7. Religious places: 
Christians: St Thomas Mount near Guindy: A small mount where Jesus Disciple, St Thomas was believed to be killed. There is a 16th century small church in the mountain
other famous churches include St. Georg’s Cathedral at Mount Road, St. Thomas Cathedral Basilica at Santhome etc., 
Hinduism: Lots of Hindu temples dating back to 800 years old are located and scattered over chennai. In Mylapore there is almost one at every street.
8. Zoo at Vandalur: one of Asia’s biggest zoo. The place is about 20 Km from chennai. It is a big zoo. There is a vehicle inside to take you to places. Make sure that you be there in the morning and to spend the entire day there. You can see the real animals when compared to the sedated animals, which you would have seen around the world. If you want to really see wild animals then it is the best place
9. Visit Mylapore and Purasawalkkam where you can find small shops selling various articles of interest
10. If you are person who likes drinking a cup of tea along the road and want to see the real chennai people then never miss drinking a bottle of beer along the road side Bar. If you dont like to go to places of filthy then avoid them.

There are also the usual places like Museums, Theatre, shopping Complex, Massage Centres, Restaurants, Hotels, Resorts, Hospitals which are evenly distributed providing you the care and service for your money.

Why i dislike iphone

I have been using iphone 5s for the past few years. I used Nokia Asha 210 dual sim before that. I want to say why I dislike iphone. I have been using gpay for the past 1 year. Then all a sudden it didn’t work. I came to know that apple stopped supporting gpay for their old version phone. When I used Nokia Asha 210 dual sim, it had WhatsApp and I used them, then suddenly I received a message on these WhatsApp that Nokia is going to stop this service from this December. Later it worked well after December and later on it said that it is going to stop from ….. and it stopped. The Nokia Asha 210 dual sim is a lower end phone and it had the humane courtesy to inform its customer about the endlife of a gadget. This Human courtesy is missing in iphone. You may give various reasons but I say that this is what we all need and you are right now I am not interested in iphone

Running a Marathon for the First time? How did I ran my First Full Marathon I am an amateur aged 43 year and I am writing this based on my experience after running my first full marathon in Chennai Wipro marathon 2015 held on Jan. 2016.     Half Marathon: Running a marathon seemed to be a dream unless I started practising. My practise for the first half marathon started 6 months before the race ie. June. My initial calculations are that I must practice to walk for 21 Km so that I can complete the half marathon either by walking or by running. So, I started to walk for 1hour daily in the evening for 1 month. I walked in the regular roads. I usually walk in any direction for 30 minutes and then return in the same way.
